I tried, I really did - but is this reactionary piffle. Read some Heinlein if you like a bit of style with your right-wing reading.

Thanks for the up and 64k is just fine for audiobooks anything more (in my own opinion) is a waste of space and just slows things down. Thanks for your review A Scotsman, but “reactionary piffle”, although wonderful wording is not as helpful:-)

I thought these books were great. The guy loved his family and friends. Together they tried to be good people and survive a tough situation.

Personally, I loved the book and at this point I’ve gone through all 7 plus one Novella
(Charlie’s Requiem).
If you enjoy this type of book, it is faster paced than One Second after and more in-depth than Black Out. This is the series to introduce newbies to the concept of why some of us are preppers.
