So, for people who clicked on this but don’t know, this is a brand new book in a follow-up series to a series about a man who works for a cross between the NSA and the X-Files. He’s had to save the world from scientifically acurate zombies and vampires and other threats that, while fictional, are based more on logical origins than other horror novel / movie threats.
I have enjoyed them all to various degrees, though I’ve ignored some of the many spin-off titles.
I thank you very much for posting this. This will be a book I actually listen to instead of just collect “just in case.”

I have already finished this Its some of his best work yet! I pre-order everything Maberry writes; he is one of the best authors ever. Don’t sleep on any of the Joe Ledger books. The anthologies are epic also, as each story is written by a different author, often crossing Joe Ledger into their universes like Chess Team or Sigma Force or Seal Team 666. In Cave 13, Jonathan Maberry wrote in Repairman Jack from FP Wilson’s adversary cycle. Super epic. I just finished the Adversity Cycle; it was as epic as the Joe Ledger novels. These are the best thrillers going. This one also touches on his first and 5-time Bram Stoker award-winning Pine Deep. Even gives a nod to Kagen the Damned with the prince of games. Don’t sleep on these. but also do Maberry a favor. If you love these as much as me Pre-order the next one. The Alchemist when it’s available.
