Captures the nastiness, competitiveness and dark secrets that lurk within mommy cliques though not told in a flighty, lifetime movie way but in a dark, and suspenseful way. You may or may not like any of these richly drawn characters but you will recognize these types of people and what they can do. It is a much a statement about human frailty and failings as it is a statement about culture in general and how it influences the less savory qualities in all of us. You feel yourself relating to the myriad awkward and uncomfortable situations , dreading the outcome yet wanting to see what happens with these people you may come to despise.
